Real Madrid wants to offer a new contract to his young and talented French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga according to several concordant sources.

In recent weeks, Eduardo Camavinga (20 years old) has become an indisputable starter for Real Madrid, to the point of being qualified as untouchable by Carlo Ancelotti. He was again the best Madrid player on Sunday during the 2-1 defeat of his team in the Clasico.

At the end of last week, the Spanish media Relevo revealed that Real Madrid had opened talks to extend the contract of the French international (which runs until 2027) and increase his salary, one of the lowest in the Merengue squad.

The same clause as Vinicius Junior

According to this source, Real Madrid could also consider increasing his release clause from 700 million euros to 1 billion euros, like those of Eder Militão, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior. An information confirmed today by The Athletic.

Excellent with Real in the role of sentinel, Camavinga has also helped in the left-back position this season and Didier Deschamps has called him to play in this position against the Netherlands and Ireland. A waste?
