Eduardo Camavinga, who has enjoyed a fine season with Real Madrid, is to be extended until 2028 with a release clause set at 1 billion euros.

Whether in midfield or at left-back, Eduardo Camavinga (20) has turned a corner for Real Madrid this season, becoming an important player for Carlo Ancelotti, making no fewer than 59 appearances in all competitions.

His progress has prompted Real Madrid to negotiate a new contract with the French international. And according to Marca, the former Rennes player has agreed to sign a new lease with the Spanish club until June 2028 (his current contract expires in 2027), with a "significantly increased" salary.

Real Madrid to make 4 extensions official this summer

Real Madrid have also agreed to include a new €1 billion release clause in his new contract.

According to Marca, Real Madrid are expected to make Camavinga's contract extension official this summer. The Spanish club should also confirm the extensions of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Eder Miltão in the coming weeks. These extensions have been in place since last year.
