Scorer against Real Madrid on Sunday in the 2-1 victory of Barça in the Clasico, Sergi Roberto invited Leo Messi to return to Barcelona.

Sergi Roberto equalized for Barça against Real Madrid on Sunday night and Franck Kessié then offered the Clasico to Barcelona in stoppage time. After the game, the Barcelona midfielder was asked by the journalist Gerard Romero about a possible return of Leo Messi to Barça. A return that is increasingly talked about in recent days.

"Is the dressing room ready for a return of Messi? We are waiting for him with open arms! Who would not be ready for a return of Leo? But we don't want to talk too much about it because it's up to him, the president, the coach... but we players are waiting for him," Sergi Roberto replied.

"Here, we will treat him very well if he returns"

Gerard Romero then told Sergi Roberto that Leo Messi had been whistled against Rennes (it was not a boo, but there were indeed some whistles). To which the versatile Barça player replied: "It's difficult to understand. He is having very good seasons in Paris. He scores a lot of goals, he makes assists. They blame him for the elimination (in the Champions League), but he is an exceptional player and it hurts to see a player of this level being treated in this way."

And Sergi Roberto concluded, "Here we will treat him very well if he comes back."
