Free since the end of his contract at Rayo Vallecano, Andoni Iraola has caught the eye of OM president Pablo Longoria as a possible replacement for Igor Tudor.

A new name for the post-Tudor era. According to Spanish daily Marca, 40-year-old Basque Andoni Iraola is in Pablo Longoria's sights to succeed Igor Tudor on the OM bench next season.

After three years on the bench at Rayo Vallecano, where he led the club to 11th place in La Liga this season, the former Athletic Bilbao defender has decided not to extend his contract and to look for a more ambitious club.

Linked last February with Leeds and more recently with Celta Vigo and Villarreal, Iraola is on OM's radar and is even presented by Marca as one of Pablo Longoria's preferred options.
