At the end of his contract at AC Milan on June 30, Zlatan Ibrahimovic (41 years) would be close to join Monza.

Having scored just one goal in four appearances this season due to his knee surgery last year and several physical problems since, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not expected to extend his contract at AC Milan, which expires on June 30. Will the 41-year-old Swedish giant decide to hang up his boots this summer or will he take on a final challenge?

According to FootMercato, the second option is the most likely as Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a verbal agreement with AC Monza, a club located a few kilometers from Milan and owned by Silvio Berlusconi, his former president at Milan. Adriano Galliani, former Milan manager, also works at Monza.

Promoted to Serie A this season, Monza is in a respectable 10th place after 33 games and could make a big media splash by signing Ibra this summer. If nothing is signed, the file seems to be well advanced and FM estimates that the percentage of chances to see Zlatan at Monza next season is over 90%.
