Saudi Arabia plans to raid Chelsea with at least four players this week.

Saudi Arabia is in the process of revolutionizing the summer mercato. Having already signed Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr) and Karim Benzema (Al Ittihad), Saudi Arabia is preparing to recruit numerous other players from Europe, including <a href=/news/mercato-barca-ruben-neves-close-to-signing-for-saudi-arabia>Ruben Neves, Wolverhampton's Portuguese international, on his way to Al-Hilal.

But as revealed by several sources in recent hours, including FootMercato and Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi government also intends to offload several more or less undesirable players from Chelsea. N'Golo Kanté, whom the Blues wanted to extend, is in the process of signing a 4-year deal with Al-Ittihad, Benzema's new club, for a total of €100 million.

Mendy, Koulibaly and Ziyech say yes to Saudi Arabia

In addition to the French midfielder, three other Chelsea players are heading for Saudi Arabia: Edouard Mendy (Al Ahli), Kalidou Koulibaly (Al-Hilal) and Hakim Ziyech (Al Nassr). All three players have reportedly already agreed terms with the Saudi clubs mentioned, but as they are still under contract with Chelsea, negotiations will have to take place with the London club.

As the three players no longer fit into Chelsea's plans, there is a good chance that their transfer to Saudi Arabia will be successful. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, also undesirable at Chelsea, is also of interest to several Saudi clubs, but his departure seems less imminent than for the other four players mentioned.
