On his way out of Real Madrid after 14 years of goals and titles, Karim Benzema is set to sign for Saudi club Al-Ittihad in the next few days.

Karim Benzema's move to Saudi Arabia is heating up. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Real Madrid striker has signed most of the paperwork to become a new player at Al-Ittihad, where a two-year contract awaits him, with an additional third year as an option.

The famous Italian journalist gave no details of the salary, which varies between 100 and 200 million euros a year depending on the source. Karim Benzema will bid farewell to Real Madrid this Tuesday in the company of Florentino Pérez at a ceremony before flying to Saudi Arabia and Jeddah, home of Al-Ittihad, who have just been crowned Saudi Arabian champions for the 9th time in their history, ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.
