From Brazil, Neymar validated Carlo Ancelotti's possible arrival on the Seleção bench in 2024.

The Brazilian press announced this week that <a href=/news/real-madrid-ancelotti-to-coach-brazil-in-2024>Carlo Ancelotti will become Brazil coach in the summer of 2024, once his contract at Real Madrid comes to an end. Neymar, the Seleção's joint all-time top scorer with 77 goals, is delighted with the move, as is Pele.

"Brazil will have the privilege of having a foreign coach. Ancelotti is a man who has won everything. He will certainly teach us a lot," said the PSG player in an interview with BandSports.

"The president wants Ancelotti, so do we".

On the sidelines of a charity auction organized by his foundation, Neymar was also asked about Ancelotti and more than validated this lead: "I can't say much, because I don't know much either. I know he's the federation's plan A, the president wants him and we players want him too. For me, for Vini, for Militão... we already know him, we know how great he is. His presence in the team will be very important. But nothing has been confirmed yet. We hope that when his contract expires, he'll be able to join the national team."
