Official: Raphaël Guerreiro signs for Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich announced on Friday the signing of Portuguese left-back Raphaël Guerreiro until June 2026.
It's official: Raphaël Guerreiro is a new Bayern Munich player. A former Lorient player, the 29-year-old Portuguese international has been available since the end of his contract at Borussia Dortmund, and will be reunited with his former coach Thomas Tuchel in Munich, where he has committed himself until June 2026. The left-back is the second recruit of the Bavarian mercato after Leipzig's Austrian midfielder, Konrad Laimer.
"I'll do everything I can to win as many titles as possible"
"When FC Bayern called me, my decision was made quickly. It's an honor for me to play for this great club, and I've grown very fond of Thomas Tuchel since our time at Dortmund. I'm a player who always likes to have the ball - it's all about dominating the game and I want to create chances. I'll do everything I can to win as many titles as possible. That's the FC Bayern philosophy," Guerreiro told his new club's website.
