Arriving at Arsenal in 2021 from Sheffield United, Aaron Ramsdale has established himself in the goal of the London club and has just been rewarded with the signing of a new contract.

Recruited by the Gunners for 35 million euros, including bonuses, Aaron Ramsdale was initially greeted with some skepticism by Arsenal fans. But the 25-year-old English goalkeeper has quickly put everyone in agreement and is now an indisputable starter for Mikel Arteta.

Initially under contract with Arsenal until 2025 with an additional year as an option, Ramsdale signed this Thursday a new "long-term" contract with the current second of the Premier League. According to Fabrizio Romano, this new contract runs until 2028.

Invited by Gareth Southgate during the last World Cup, Ramsdale has played 39 games with Arsenal this season for 45 goals conceded and 1 clean sheet.
