Official: Nantes retains Pierre Aristouy
Appointed four days from the end to save Nantes, Pierre Aristouy has fulfilled his mission and has just been extended until 2025.
After lifting the option to buy <a href=/news/official-nantes-lift-mostafa-mohameds-purchase-option>Mostafa Mohamed, estimated at 6 million euros, on Wednesday, FC Nantes confirmed its coach Pierre Aristouy and extended his contract until June 2025.

A former club player and reserve team coach, Pierre Aristouy replaced Antoine Kombouaré with four games remaining last season in a bid to keep the club in Ligue 1. This mission was accomplished thanks to a 1-0 victory over Angers on the final day, combined with Auxerre's defeat by Lens.
