Official: Liverpool loan Fabio Carvalho to Leipzig
Liverpool have confirmed the loan of their young Portuguese attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho (20) to Leipzig.
After switching from Fulham to Liverpool last summer, young Portuguese attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho (20) will move to Leipzig next season, where he was loaned out on Friday for one season without an option to buy.
Fabio Carvalho has had a difficult first season with the Reds, scoring just 3 goals in 21 appearances. He will be looking to regain more playing time and confidence at Leipzig, who have qualified for the next Champions League.

Liverpool are also negotiating with Leipzig to sign <a href=/news/mercato-liverpool-speed-up-for-szoboszlai> their Hungarian striker Dominik Szoboszlai (22), who has a €70 million release clause. This clause is valid until Friday June 30.
