RC Lens confirmed on Thursday the signing of Paris FC striker Morgan Guilavogui, already their third recruit of the summer mercato.

There's no stopping RC Lens! After snapping up Dutch midfielder Stijn Spierings from Toulouse and signing promising Franco-Moroccan midfielder <a href=/news/official-lens-confirms-its-second-mercato-recruit>Neil El Aynaoui from Nancy for €1m, the French vice-champion has confirmed the signing of Morgan Guilavogui until 2027.

The 25-year-old Franco-Guinean striker is coming off a fine season with Paris FC (15 goals in Ligue 2 plus 3 in the Coupe de France) and cost the Sang et Or around €4 million, who should also soon make official the signing of Andy Diouf, talented midfielder from FC Basel.

"At Racing, the wealth of profiles is a key point in our approach to building a group. Morgan's development has not been linear, but has been built on hard work, resilience and the ambition that has always accompanied him. We're delighted to welcome a player who is coming of age after two successful seasons in Ligue 2," enthused Arnaud Pouille, General Manager of Lens.
