Official: Jota joins Benzema and Kanté in Saudi Arabia
Celtic FC's Portuguese winger Jota has been transferred as agreed to Al-Ittihad, the Saudi club owned by Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté.
After a great season with Celtic FC, Portuguese winger Jota (24), not to be confused with Diogo Jota (Liverpool), has signed a contract until June 2026 with Al-Ittihad Tigers, the Saudi club owned by Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté.

It's an interesting move for the Saudi club, who have recruited a player on the rise who was highly rated on the transfer market. According to the British media, Al-Ittihad paid around 29 million euros for the player.
Last season, Jota made 46 appearances for Celtic, scoring 15 goals and providing 12 assists. He will be coached at Al-Ittihad by his compatriot Nuno Espirito Santo.
