Official: Atlético Madrid sign Javi Galan

Atlético Madrid have confirmed the signing of Spanish left-back Javi Galan from Celta Vigo.

Spanish left-back Javi Galan (28) has joined Atlético Madrid from Celta Vigo, where he was a regular starter. Javi Galan has been brought in to compensate for the injury suffered by Reinildo, who will be out for several months, and has committed himself until June 2026.

The transfer fee has not been announced by the clubs, but is estimated at between €4 and €5 million by the Spanish press. In the other direction, left-back Manu Sanchez (22) is set to leave Atlético and sign for Celta Vigo, replacing Javi Galan.
