Bournemouth parted company with coach Gary O'Neil on Monday, replacing him with Andoni Iraola, who was once rumoured to be interested in a move to OM.

Although Andoni Iraola was rumoured by the Spanish press to be OM's successor to Igor Tudor, according to La Provence, he was never really pursued by the Phocéenne management. On Monday, the Basque coach officially signed a two-year contract with Bournemouth, who finished 15th in the Premier League last season.

Andoni Iraola has been available since the end of his contract at Rayo Vallecano (11th in La Liga), and succeeds Gary O'Neil, who was appointed interim coach of the Cherries on August 30 before being confirmed in his post in November. However, he was unable to retain his position.
