Austrian coach Adi Hütter was installed on the AS Monaco bench on Tuesday.

Having finished a disappointing 6th in Ligue 1 last season, AS Monaco had been looking for a successor to Philippe Clement since June 4. One month later, ASM confirmed the signing of experienced Austrian coach Adolf "Adi" Hütter on a two-year contract.

Like Monaco's new director of soccer, Thiago Scuro, Adi Hütter has also coached Young Boys Bern, Eintracht Frankfurt (for three years) and Borussia Mönchengldbach, where he stayed for just one year, finishing a disappointing 10th in the Bundesliga in the 2021-2022 season.

We are delighted to welcome Adi Hütter to AS Monaco," commented Thiago Scuro on the ASM website. In recent years, Adi has proved his worth in various leagues, as well as on the continental stage. These different experiences, added to his leadership and a profile marked by a lively, forward-looking style, correspond in every way with what we're looking for in order to take a new step forward with the first team. Welcome Adi!
