Milan derby for Marcus Thuram, who turned down PSG

Not convinced by the Parisian project, Marcus Thuram has rejected PSG and is heading for Milan, where both AC and Inter want him.

French, versatile and available, Marcus Thuram was an interesting prospect for PSG, who were looking for attacking reinforcements this summer. However, the 25-year-old French international, who has reached the end of his contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach, will not be joining the French capital.

According to L'Equipe, Marcus Thuram informed PSG of his decision on Thursday. According to the sports daily, Marcus Thuram's decision was prompted by the lack of clarity surrounding the Parisian project, the vagueness surrounding the coach and his desire to settle in the center of the park.

PSG offered Marcus Thuram €7m net per year

According to L'Equipe, PSG had made the best contractual offer to Lilian's son, a fact confirmed by RMC Sport, with figures to back it up. PSG reportedly offered Marcus Thuram €7m net per year, plus a €5m signing bonus. But this was not enough to convince him.

According to L'Equipe and RMC Sport, AC Milan are now a serious possibility for Marcus Thuram, as are Inter Milan. Leipzig, who were also interested, are no longer in the running, so it's a Milan derby for the Tricolor centre-forward. His choice is imminent, and the Italian press sees him closer to AC Milan.
