Mercato Rennes: Genesio ends the suspense
Bruno Genesio was rumored to be on his way out of Rennes last April, despite having a contract running until 2025, but he told a press conference on Thursday that he would still be coach of Stade Rennais next season.

"I'll be the coach of Rennes next season".
"Is my future clear for next season? Yes, it is. I'll be the coach. Coach of Rennes? I told you, I'll be the coach. Of Rennes? Yes. In a different role? No," replied the former OL coach, while L'Equipe this morning raised the possibility of him having a greater say in the Rennes mercato in the future.
Genesio's contract runs until 2025, but RMC Sport revealed back in April that he was questioning his future and was even considering quitting coaching in the short term. Stade Rennais immediately denied this in a press release. This Thursday, Genesio put an end to the suspense, once and for all.
