Mercato PSG: Thunderbolt for Nagelsmann!

Favored to succeed Christophe Galtier for the past two weeks, Julian Nagelsmann will not be PSG's next coach, according to L'Equipe.

Thunderbolt for Nagelsmann. Barring a last-minute twist, the 35-year-old German coach will not be PSG's next coach. According to L'Equipe, in the last few hours the two parties have agreed not to work together after several days of negotiations.

At this stage, it remains to be seen what the sticking point was between PSG and the former Bayern Munich coach, who had already held talks with Chelsea and Tottenham in recent weeks, but to no avail.

With the matter closed, PSG will activate its plan B, the identity of which has not yet been revealed (the names of Thiago Motta, Luis Enrique and Xavi Alonso have been floated), and hopes to finalize the appointment of its new coach next week, according to L'Equipe.
