Mercato PSG: the price of Arda Güler is known

One of the great hopes of Turkish soccer and of Fenerbahçe, number 10 Arda Güler appeals to a number of European clubs, including PSG, and has a release clause that is accessible, to say the least.

PSG have completed the signing of promising Italian midfielder <a href=/news/mercato-psg-on-track-to-recruit-cher-ndour>Cher Ndour (18, Benfica) according to several corroborating sources, but Luis Campos has no intention of stopping there and could recruit another highly promising player of the same age: Arda Güler.

Fenerbahçe's Turkish prodigy, who wears the number 10 on his back, has been linked with PSG for several weeks, and the Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb reported on the possibility as early as April 28.

More recently, the Twitter account Sports Zone has rekindled the story, revealing that Nasser Al-Khelaïfi took advantage of his presence in Istanbul last weekend to discuss the Arda Güler dossier with Fenerbahçe's management.

According to Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepulveda, Benfica Lisbon is also very interested in the left-footed attacking midfielder, and also discussed the matter with Fenerbahçe last weekend.

Arda Güler has a €17.5m clause

Interesting information from this source: Arda Güler has a release clause of "only" €17.5 million. An affordable amount for a player of his potential.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms the size of the clause, as well as the interest shown by a number of European clubs in this promising Turkish player, who has made 35 appearances this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 7 assists.
