French central defender Evan Ndicka's contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires on June 30, and he is set to sign for AS Roma.

Following in the footsteps of Houssem Aouar, Jose Mourinho's AS Roma are in the process of recruiting another highly interesting player at the end of his contract, in the shape of Evan Ndicka, a 23-year-old left-footed French central defender who has been a regular at Eintracht Frankfurt for several seasons.

Ndicka to sign 5-year deal at Roma

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (Sky Italia), Roma are currently finalizing the contractual and bureaucratic details for the arrival of Ndicka, who is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Giallorossi until June 2028.

Ndicka was one of several left-sided central defenders rumoured to be in PSG's sights this summer, but the Parisian club's priority in this position is Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich). Last month, the former Auxerre defender's agents met with Mourinho and shared the scene on Instagram.
