Napoli are demanding no less than €180 million from PSG for their Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

Renowned for being tough on business, Neapolitan president Aurelio De Laurentiis has no intention of parting with his top scorer Victor Osimhen this summer. At least, not at any price.

Various sums have been bandied about in recent weeks, ranging from €100 to €150 million, but according to Le Parisien, the reigning Italian champions are demanding €180 million from PSG for Osimhen.

Osimhen on the verge of an extension at Napoli?

At this price, it's hard to imagine PSG (or any other club) making any headway in this dossier, despite the fact that the Nigerian is a highly talented player and is coming off a 31-goal season in all competitions.

This week, on the bangs of the presentation of his new coach Rudi Garcia, Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed that he had an agreement in principle with Osimhen to extend his contract by two years, until 2027.

"But if an offer arrives that is impossible to refuse for the health of the club, we'll study it," added the man of the cinema, as if to remind us that everyone has a price in soccer. But at €180m, nobody is likely to budge. Not even Luis Campos, who knows him well and appreciates him.
