Mercato PSG: Juventus consider Hugo Ekitike

Juventus Turin could lose Dusan Vlahovic this summer, and are considering several possible replacements, including Hugo Ekitike.

On loan to PSG from Reims this season, Hugo Ekitike scored just four goals in his first season in Paris. The purchase option in his contract (estimated at €35m) will now be exercised, however, as PSG finished as French champions (the option was automatically triggered if Paris finished in the top two).

Aged just 21, will Hugo Ekitike have the opportunity to prove his worth to Paris next season, or will he be sold or loaned out this summer? Everything seems open-ended at this stage, but several clubs are in any case interested in the young French striker. In particular, the Portuguese press has reported interest from Sporting CP. Ekitike has also been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt, who could lose Randal Kolo Muani.

Scamacca or Ekitike if Vlahovic leaves?

The latest club to show an interest? Juventus Turin. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian club will recruit a centre-forward this summer if the much-coveted Dusan Vlahovic is transferred. The Old Lady have already bought Arkadiusz Milik from OM and also have Moise Kean in their ranks.

If Vlahovic does leave, Juventus would be more interested in signing a player on loan, and two names are being considered, according to the Italian daily: Gianluca Scamacca, who is coming off a complicated season at West Ham, but who also appeals to AS Roma and AC Milan, and Hugo Ekitike. PSG loaned Leandro Paredes to Juventus this season.
