Manuel Ugarte has been courted by PSG and Chelsea, but according to the latest reports in the Portuguese sports press, he would prefer the Blues.

The first media outlet to reveal <a href=/news/psg-sends-60-million-for-uruguayan-talent> PSG's intention to acquire Manuel Ugarte, Sporting CP's Uruguayan defensive midfielder, Portuguese sports daily Record reports on Tuesday that Chelsea are holding out for the 22-year-old.

PSG and Chelsea have made a €60 million offer to Sporting CP. An amount corresponding to Ugarte's release clause. However, according to Record, Chelsea are also offering a further 5 million euros in bonuses. Although he was keen to join PSG, Ugarte now has a preference for the Blues, according to Record.
