Having played a good game against Auxerre on Sunday, Marco Verratti is one of the PSG stars likely to leave during the next summer mercato. According to L'Equipe, the Parisian club is ready to let its Italian midfielder go, but not just anywhere.

Marco Verratti wants to leave PSG this summer according to L'Equipe and RMC Sport. An information that the sports daily maintains this Monday, the day after the good match of the Italian international against Auxerre. L'Equipe also confirms that PSG is open to a departure of its player, especially Luis Campos. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi would be more reluctant, but could accede to the request of his player, whom he is close to, provided that he does not join any club.

Thus, while Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid could try his luck according to L'Equipe, PSG would not intend to let his "Little Owl" leave for Madrid, relations between the two clubs being bad since the Kylian Mbappé episode and Real's desire to join the Super League.

Verratti dreams of a return to Italy

L'Equipe also tells us that Verratti has a juicy offer from Saudi Arabia, which offers him more than €50 million per year. If this destination is not the priority of the player, he has not yet refused it and wants to keep it under consideration, just in case, according to the newspaper.

In Italy, Inter Milan and Juventus Turin have been mentioned for a few days as the two clubs that could be interested in Verratti. According to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, who specializes in the mercato, Verratti dreams of a return to Italy, but his very high salary could be an obstacle for the Serie A clubs.

To sum up, if Verratti and PSG seem for the first time open to the idea of parting this summer, there is still some way to go and nothing says that this departure will materialize this summer. We can also assume that the future Parisian coach, if Christophe Galtier leaves as planned, will have a say in this matter.
