While an Italian media outlet is reporting that he is on his way out, Igor Tudor has recommended Brazilian defensive midfielder Walace (Udinese) to OM, according to Goal.

Igor Tudor did not dispel doubts about his future <a href=/news/mercato-om-tudor-still-evasive-about-his-future>when he appeared at a press conference on Thursday. A few hours later, the Italian media outlet Sportitalia, not the most reputable in the boot, announced exclusively that the Croatian coach had decided to leave OM at the end of the season. This information should be treated with caution for the time being, given the source.

While we wait to find out more about the future of Tudor, who is under contract at OM until June 2024, Brazilian journalist Raisa Simplicio, who works for Goal, revealed on Twitter that the Croatian coach had recommended Brazilian defensive midfielder Walace to OM, whom he met for a few months at Udinese in 2019.

Walace is a Brazilian international and a regular at Udinese

Aged 28, Walace has 5 caps for Brazil and is a permanent fixture at Udinese, currently 12th in Serie A. This season, the former Grêmio player has played 35 of his team's 36 matches, almost all of them in full. According to Raisa Simplicio, Walace is also in the sights of leading Italian clubs, as well as Brazilian champions Palmeiras.

Contractually, Walace is under contract with Udinese until June 2026, and is valued at 7 million euros on the Transfermarkt website.
