OM have been negotiating with Marcelo Gallardo for days, and are still waiting for his decision. According to La Provence, the Marseille club is expecting a response from the Argentine coach this Wednesday.

With the resumption of training set for July 3, in less than three weeks' time, OM are determined to lose no more time in the matter of their new coach. L'Equipe recently reported that OM were hoping for a successful outcome this week, and La Provence goes even further.

The regional daily asserts that OM has been making progress with Marcelo Gallardo for several days now, and is ready to accept his demands regarding the staff he will provide and his requirements for the mercato. However, OM are still waiting for an answer from the Argentinian and are beginning to lose patience.

OM wants an answer from Gallardo this Wednesday

According to La Provence, OM would like to have Gallardo's answer this Wednesday, so as to have time to prepare for the season ahead. " Either he wants to, or he doesn't," a member of the OM team told the regional daily, adding that Gallardo's entourage could not be contacted.

Yesterday, journalist Florent Torchut, who interviewed Gallardo several times during his career, revealed that the former River Plate coach had three options for this summer: coach OM, Monaco or... wait again. OM, who are also interested in Paulo Fonseca (Lille) and another unnamed coach, are not willing to wait any longer.
