Promising 19-year-old Argentine right-back Agustín Giay has caught the eye of OM, according to an Argentine journalist.

With the return of Issa Kaboré to Manchester City and Nuno Tavares to Arsenal, OM will need to recruit one or even two new players this summer, especially if Igor Tudor stays. Should the Croatian leave, as is the tendency, it will be interesting to see whether his successor also adopts an approach that favors tracking players.

In the meantime, OM are working behind the scenes to strengthen their squad. And according to ESPN's Argentine journalist Jorge Baravalle, the club is interested in Agustín Giay, a promising 19-year-old right-sided midfielder with San Lorenzo who is under contract until December 2025.

OM eye Argentine U20 captain

A precocious player, Agustín Giay already has 34 pro appearances to his name and plays for San Lorenzo in the right-sided position in Ruben Insua's 3-4-3 formation. Currently playing for Argentina at the U20 World Cup, Giay is captain of his team's 4-2-3-1 formation.

According to Jorge Baravalle, OM have already begun talks with his entourage. Pablo Longoria is said to be particularly sensitive to the player's young age and maturity. For the time being, we have no further information on this avenue, which nevertheless appears quite credible and interesting for the Phocaean club.
