Having completed the recruitment of Enzo Le Fée, Stade Rennais have now moved on to Ludovic Blas, who has just one year left on his contract at Nantes.

Likely to lose Jérémy Doku, <a href=/news/mercato-rennes-liverpool-want-jeremy-doku>who appeals to Liverpool, Stade Rennais has been on the lookout for an attacking midfielder on the side, and as had already been filtering out for several weeks, the profile of versatile Ludovic Blas (25) appeals to the Breton club.

Fourth in Ligue 1 at the end of the 2022-2023 season, Stade Rennais has already completed the signing of Lorient midfielder <a href=/news/mercato-rennes-and-lorient-reach-agreement-for-le-fee>Enzo Le Fée (23) according to several corroborating sources. But according to L'Equipe, Rennes have also made a move for Ludovic Blas.

A first offer in excess of €10m

In the last few hours, FC Nantes have reportedly received an initial offer in excess of €10 million, although they are not in a strong position as Ludovic Blas has just one year left on his contract.

According to L'Equipe, the former Guingamp player has been linked with a move to Spain, but is attracted by the prospect of joining Stade Rennais. The matter could therefore be settled quickly, enabling the Canaris to launch their recruitment campaign. According to the sports daily, Nantes have already targeted several potential successors for Blas abroad.
