Mercato : Manchester City completes €35m transfer deal
Manchester City has completed the transfer of Mateo Kovacic, Chelsea's Croatian midfielder.
With Ilkay Gündogan (32) at the end of his contract and several options open to him, Manchester City has secured the services of Mateo Kovacic (29), Chelsea's Croatian midfielder with a similar profile.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have just reached an agreement with the Blues for a transfer worth 35 million euros, including 6 million in bonuses linked to the Citizens' collective performance.

Agreement between clubs just reached for £30m fee.
Personal terms agreed two weeks ago, Kovacić only wanted Man City.

Mateo Kovacic, who had just one year left on his contract at Chelsea, had been in agreement with the European and English champions for several days. He will undergo a medical in the next few days before signing his contract.
