Like Newcastle a few weeks ago, Liverpool are also exploring the possibility of signing Leipzig's Hungarian striker Dominik Szoboszlai (22).

Having scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists for RB Leipzig this season, Dominik Szoboszlai (22) is very much in demand in the Premier League. Already announced as a target for Newcastle last month, the versatile Hungarian striker has this time been linked with Liverpool.

Liverpool meet Szoboszlai's agents

According to The Athletic, the Reds are exploring this avenue to strengthen their attack, and met Szoboszlai's representatives this week. The English media outlet points out, however, that the deal looks set to be a complicated one, as the player has a €70 million release clause.

An amount that a club like Liverpool is perfectly capable of paying, but which is still very high. It should be noted that, according to The Athletic, the possible loan of Fabio Carvalho (Liverpool) to Leipzig is not linked to the Szoboszlai dossier, which is completely independent.

Liverpool have also been linked in recent days with <a href=/news/mercato-rennes-liverpool-want-jeremy-doku>Jérémy Doku (21), the young Belgian winger from Stade Rennais.
