According to Bild and Sky Sports, Loïs Openda has reached a verbal agreement with RB Leipzig, who are looking for a replacement for Christopher Nkunku, who is set to sign for Chelsea. Leipzig will now have to reach an agreement with Lens, and would be prepared to offer 30 million euros, according to the two German media. Enough for Lens?

According to Sacha Tavolieri and Fabrizio Romano, the agreement between Openda and Lens is for a five-year contract until June 2028.
