Mercato Inter: Marcus Thuram passes medical examination
French international Marcus Thuram arrived in Milan on Tuesday for his medical with Inter.
Marcus Thuram will soon be an Inter Milan player. The 25-year-old French international, who has turned down offers from PSG, Leipzig and AC Milan, arrived in Milan on Tuesday to undergo a medical prior to signing for the European runners-up.
Free since the end of his contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Marcus Thuram will sign a new contract with Inter Milan until June 2028, according to the Italian press. The French striker is set to earn an annual net salary of between €5 and €6m, depending on the source.
Marcus Thuram comes to Inter Milan to replace Edin Dzeko, who has left for Fenerbahçe, and to play in Simone Inzaghi's two-headed attack alongside Lautaro Martinez. He could be in competition with Romelu Lukaku, whom Inter are still hoping to acquire this summer.
