Mercato: Chelsea have found their new striker!
In their quest for a new number nine this summer, Chelsea have found their match in Villarreal and are set to sign Senegal international Nicolas Jackson.
After completing the purchase of Strasbourg on Thursday, Chelsea have now finalized the deal for their new centre-forward. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have just reached a total agreement with Villarreal for the transfer of Nicolas Jackson, the 22-year-old Senegal international who has scored 13 goals for the Yellow Submarine this season.
Chelsea to pay over €35m for Nicolas Jackson
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will pay slightly more than the player's €35 million release clause, but will do so in instalments. The London club had already agreed a long-term contract with Nicolas Jackson several days ago.
