Mercato: Chelsea has completed a new €20m transfer
Chelsea has completed the recruitment of a great hope of Ecuadorian soccer named Kendry Paez.
Ecuadorian attacking midfielder born in 2007, Kendry Paez will celebrate his 16th birthday this Thursday, May 4. Last night, he made his debut in the Copa Libertadores with his club Independiente del Valle, becoming the youngest Ecuadorian player to start in this prestigious South American competition.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has completed the recruitment of this promising player for nearly 20 million euros, including bonuses. Everything would be signed and it would only miss the officialization from both clubs. However, Kendry Paez will join the London club only at his majority, in the summer of 2025.

A recruitment of the future for Chelsea, which is in line with that of the young Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos (18 years), recruited this winter from Vasco da Gama for more than € 12.5 million before being loaned to the Brazilian club in the same period.
