Jean-Philippe Krasso, scorer of 17 goals and 12 assists in Ligue 2 last season, is set to leave ASSE for Red Star Belgrade, according to L'Equipe.

Ivorian international Jean-Philippe Krasso (25) is set to continue his career in Serbia. According to L'Equipe, the Saint-Etienne striker will not be extending his contract with ASSE, which expires on June 30, and is set to sign for Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade. According to Le Progrès, this mythical club, which will be competing in the next Champions League, has offered Krasso a substantial four-year contract, with a handsome signing bonus according to L'Equipe.

Krasso, from N2 to the Champions League

Krasso arrived at Saint-Etienne in 2020 from Epinal, who were playing in National 2, and had a complicated start to his career with ASSE, who loaned him out to Le Mans and then AC Ajaccio for his first two seasons. The third season proved to be the right one for the Ivorian international, who exploded onto the Ligue 2 scene in the 2022-2023 season with 17 goals and 12 assists.
